John De La Paz is an internationally recognized clarinetist, educator, and clinician whose career bridges concert performance, higher education, and artistic collaboration. Through performances, teaching, and masterclasses across the United States, Latin America, Europe, and Japan, he is committed to honoring the music, fostering meaningful human connection, and helping others discover their own authentic musical voice.
As a performing artist, John has collaborated with distinguished conductors, composers, and musicians in orchestral, chamber, solo, and educational settings. His work reflects a lifelong commitment to artistic integrity, thoughtful collaboration, and sharing the transformative power of music with audiences and students alike.
John is a Behn Performing Artist, BG France Performing Artist, and D'Addario Woodwinds Performing Artist. He serves on the music faculty at Doña Ana Community College, where he teaches music appreciation while maintaining an active international performing, teaching, and masterclass schedule.
